The church started in
December 2002 with eleven members inside a building that most
thought was ready to collapse. Four years later it is a beautifully
renovated (by the grace of God and the blessings of having two dedicated
individuals who could see beyond the physical and saw rather the
potential of the building) wholesome safe place for the adopted Children
of God. Our first church pulpit was three brooms ramp in the form of an
“A: and placed between the individual brooms was a microphone and all
supported by a chair. The first subject was on the topic of the
Five-Fold Ministry which was to become one of our flagship purposes for
the Lighthouse Ministries of Abbotsford. We are now in our fourth year
and continue to grow in numbers (today’s population - when everyone
comes at the same time) we are at sixty members and we continue to pray
for growth according to God’s purpose for the Lighthouse. Numbers are
not our main focus – maturing spiritually is everything! We are a non denominational church. We are a Five - Fold Ministry Church having the capacity to provide Conferences and Training to our members, other church memberships and as well the general public. We are on fire with God’s Holy Spirit but carry with us no describing adjective that would reflect the spiritual highs that would normally be associated with church attendance. None of our spiritual experiences fit within any definitions of the type of real experiences we have constantly happening at the Lighthouse. We are a church that celebrates everyday our journey with the Lord! We care for the needs of our members and have been blessed with a powerful relationship in the presences of the Holy Spirit at our church. We have witness Gold Dust on chairs and on members. We have seen the manifestations of feathers (white) coming out of now where and we realize that the angels of God are in the Church. They do once in a while give acknowledgement to us of their spiritual presences by vision. We have witness blessed oil pouring from the door posts within our church. We are a church that believes in the deeper understanding of the Holy Spirit and know that we are standing constantly on Holy Ground. We are a church anxiously waiting the releasing of the authority of our Apostolic anointing. It is a church with signs and wonders. A church that holds back every effort by satan to attack our church, its leaders and the over all Church of Jesus Christ. It is a safe church! A family church! A maturing church! A church getting ready for the deeper call and releasing power never witnessed or experienced before in the history of God’s plans for this Earth! This power will be in relationship to the return of Jesus Christ – Christ Jesus Yahshua! We are a Society (not
for profit church) carrying a Charitable Registry with Revenue Canada
and we are accountable to our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth and Open
Bible Faith Fellowship (OBFF). Our Pastoral Ordination coming from the
same organization OBFF and we are therefore subject to the by laws of
OBFF! We are as well subject to the laws of the Federal and Provincial
Governments under church legislation. We do our annual audit and provide
an income tax return federally. We are Called- Lighthouse Ministries of
Abbotsford! |

Our
Church
Pastor
Bob Evans is the Apostle to Lighthouse Ministries of Abbotsford and
it was through his calling by God that brought forth the church as a
ministry. Pastor Bob was a very conservative individual having little
desire for ministry and once thought of becoming a Pastor but that
thought was quickly put out by the comment that “you are too old” and he
was thirty – eight at that time. Seven years ago he was minding his own
business (52 yrs old) and getting ready to go to bed and was in prayer
with his wife when he heard a low auditable sound – a voice – saying –
“I want you to build a house church.” Several times this voice kept
calling out to him as he each time returned to prayers. The voice
started to become clearer as he heard – what he now knows as God’s voice
- that he was being called to establish a church that would be a home
environment, a safe place, a hospital, a place of recovery for lost
ministries and for the releasing of new ministries after the Holy Spirit
shaped the individual into a warrior for God. For seven years the
combined ministry of Pastor Bob and his prophetess wife Pastor
Mary-Ellen is growing out with the lead of Jesus Christ and all for the
glory of our Father God. The church today stands on three principles –
Our church being a hospital , Our church is a school and Our church is a
filling station!
